Forum query: Can I use an object as an Event Listener?
I have a mouse (rat_mc) and an elephant (dumbo_mc). The rat_mc is a draggable object and the elephant is sitting on the stage. Can I make it so that when a user drags the rat over the elephant, the elephant does something (jump, run away... etc). Any ideas? What should the script look like to do that? I'm a noob obviously. This may be a dumb question with a simple answer. When loading dynamic text / Loadvariables , how do I load text that is not in the same folder as the FLA / SWF. and... When using the Loader Component, how do I load pictures/ SWF's in a different folder. Thanks! |
